Hi! 

My name is Robyn (middle) and I'm a fully trained and experienced dog groomer. I have been in the animal industry from the minute I finished school. I have worked in many different sectors, from Dairy Farms and Zoos to animal research and nutrition. However, I have always been happiest when grooming.

I am City and Guilds qualified and hold a Degree in Animal Management. I also hold an Animal First Aid certificate. I pride myself in staying up to date with current grooming products and routines.

I started my own Grooming Parlour from home, called 'Short Bark and Sides' in 2016 and went off in search of a bigger premises when I started to outgrow the small space. I took over 'Scruffy Dogs' on January 1st 2018 and have never looked back! Since then I have had to move premises again (just around the corner) as I had once again outgrown my space. ​

Shortly after settling in, I welcomed Nyesha (right) to the business. She has worked closely alongside me since 2021. Many of you will recognise her and have had the pleasure of letting her groom your dogs.

Recently, Courtney (left) has rejoined us. She carried out work experience in 2020 and has followed her dream ever since. Doing a full circle back in to the salon, she is now our second full time groomer and completes our little family.
